Talofa
My Name Is Jeff Tuiasosopo, I Am The Youth Pastor Here At Robertson Avenue Baptist Church.  I Am Excited About What The Lord Is Doing Here And What He Is About To Do Here At Our Youth Ministry.  I Have Been Called To The Ministry Now A Little Over Nine And A Half Years, And Every Day That Passes, The Lord Has Allowed Me To Experience Him In A Mighty Way.  On November 28th 1988, I Gave My Life To The Lord At Washington State University.  At First I Was Excited About My New Life In The Lord, Gung-Ho And Excited About Being A New Christian I Found Myself Volunteering For Every Ministry That Was Available On Campus.  As A Babe In Christ I Did Not Realize That In Order For Me To Walk And Then Run Full Speed Ahead As A Christian, I Needed To Understand The Most Basic Thing Of Becoming A Christian.  I Needed To Be Discipled Before I Could Walk, And Then Run In My New Christian Life.  As A Result Of This Immaturity, I Became Discouraged In My Walk With The Lord, And Ended Up Falling Back Into My Old Ways As A Lost Person.  This Lack Of Understanding In My Relationship With Christ Only Made Things Worse For Me.  I Did Not Have The Peace That Came From Having A Relationship With The Lord, I Did Not Have The Knowledge To Overcome My Fears Of The Unknown, And Most Of All I Continued To Make All The Wrong Decisions As A Young Person That Finally Led To All The Things That I Later Regretted In My Life.  The Awesome Reality Of My Relationship With Christ, Is That Despite All That I Have Done In The Past, I Finally Understood That My Lord And My God Still Loved Me And That He Forgave Me Of All My Sins Past, Present And Future.  With This New Found Understanding And Reality Of My Life, I Finally Heeded The Call That The Lord Has Placed On Me Ever Since The Day I Was Born Into This Life.  He Was Calling Me Into The Youth Ministry.  In 1992, After All The Things That I Have Been, The Lord Blessed Me With My Beautiful And Awesome Wife Of Over 16 Years.  Darla And I Surrendered To The Ministry At Fairview Baptist Church (Now Fairview Community Church) In 1999.  The Journey Has Been Challenging, And At Times Filled With Events That We Can Only Account As The Lord Shaping And Sculpting Our Lives For Ministry.  My Wife And I Have Been Blessed With 6 Great Children, One On The Way, And One That Is In Heaven Today.   Caleb Tuitaalili, Carlie Suafaasisina, Colton Vaifanua (Our Miracle Child), Christian Maletino, the Twins Chloe And Cammeron and Cassidee.  As The Youth Pastor Here At Robertson Avenue, I Believe That Our Young People Are Facing The Most Challenging Times Of Their Lives As Christians, Compared To The Times When We Were Teenagers.  They Are Faced With A Lot More Temptations And A Lot More Opportunities To Be Influenced By The Culture Of Our World Today.  As A Father And A Pastor, I Realize That The Church Has Only A Small Window Of Opportunity To Equip, To Train, And To Teach Our Students To Be Strong And Faithful Ambassadors For The Kingdom In Fulfilling The “Great Commission”, And At The Same Time Build Relationships And Memories With Our Students Before They Enter The Next Phase Of Their Precious Lives After High Schools.  The Three Core Principles Of The Youth Ministry Are Very Basic; 1)  Teach The Word Without Compromise, Titus 1:9.  2)  Share The Great Commission With Others, Matthew 28:19, And  3)  Bring An Environment Of True Worship For All, John 4: 23.  We Would Like To Extend To You An Open Invitation To Come Visit Us Here At Robertson Avenue Baptist Church, And Don’t Forget To Come Up To Our Youth Department, We Are Looking Forward To Getting To Meet You.  God Bless You And May The Lord Bless You All With A Blessed Day.
